Cousin News

Catching up on a bit of family news:

First off, congratulations to Darin's cousin Brent Fulton. He proposed to his girlfriend Sarah recently. Can't wait to meet her!

Second, Best wishes to my cousin Chris Munn who married his fiance Jessica. We're excited for you Jessica and your daughter Riley. Wish we could have been there in Arizona with you to celebrate!

Third, Good Luck to Darin's cousin Sam Maus! He is the starting quarter back for Northfield's football team and going to the Prep Bowl (State Championship)! We were quite surprised last Friday when listening to the news and hearing "Sam Maus, starting quarterback..." being mentioned during the sports reporting. Darin went out immediately to find out if it was indeed the same Sam Maus. GO RAIDERS!

Unbirthday Tea

For those of you who know me well, you know I love Disney movies. When Zack was born our friend Michelle bought us a book that has a collection of Disney stories for a shower gift. We've been mostly reading Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty out of the book but I need to change things up now and then so the other day I read him "The Mad Hatter's Tea Party" from Alice in Wonderland. It talks about the fact that they are celebrating UN-birthdays and they have a tea party to celebrate. Well this morning I was drinking tea and Zack asked what I was drinking and I told him. He then asked, "Is it un-birthday tea?". I thought that was pretty darn cute! :-)

Kiley's 2 Month Stats

We had our doctor appointment this morning. Kiley is quite the peanut with the exeption of her height!

Weight: 9lbs. 5oz. (25%)
Height: 23.5" (90%)
Head: 14" (10%) Quiet the opposite of Adee! :-)

We have a long skinny baby. In comparison, Zack was 11lbs. 6 oz. at two months and 24" long. Funny, the percentiles were the same though. Guess boys are supposed to be bigger!

On a Zacky note: He had his flu shot today and didn't cry at all! He was such a trooper!

2 Months Old

Our little girl is getting so big! Check out this strong neck!

She's also smiling and cooing a lot too.

Doctors appointment is on the 11th so I will have all her stats then. :-)

Do You Think Someone Was Tired?

So we played outside for 2 hours and still had no nap today. Even after being up at 5:15 this morning. He was very crabby around 5:00 and hungry so I got his dinner ready and then had to feed Kiley too. I noticed it was very quite up at the table so after half of Kiley's feeding I set her down to see how he was doing with dinner. This is what I found!

Way too funny!!!

This reminded me of Emily when she was a baby. I remember she did this when I was feeding her baby food the first time I was there to visit.

By the way the 2 blogs about leaves were scheduled posts. I didn't get those done today.

Fall Leaves

I think I may have mentioned this before but Zack is a real task master sometimes. This time he wanted Daddy to take care of the leaves. A few weeks ago I had told him that when they fall we have to rake the leaves up. Zack of course wanted to help Daddy. And they had a little fun with them before they picked them up.

I Hate Day Light Savings Time

I used to love the fall day light savings time. I got an extra hour of sleep. Now it's the reverse. Zack has been waking up between 6 and 7 lately. Now it's 5 and 6! I've been up since 5:15 because Kiley woke up to eat. Then she didn't want to go back to sleep and Zack woke up at 5:30. UGH!
