Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the wonderful men in my life. Father's, Grandfathers and Uncles, you name it I have been blessed to have many incredible examples of what a fun, caring and loving father should be and I'm so happy to have found that same combination in my husband.

I'm also happy to have so many of these same examples around for my kids as well with many excellent additions I didn't have as a kid, (my father-in-law Al and Uncles Sean, Josh and Chris plus the many, many Uncles on Darin's side).

Hope all of you have a relaxing and fun day!
We are celebrating the day with Al so last week we had my parents and grandparents over for an early Father's day celebration, (the rest of my family is celebrating Hawaiian style at the Schuster's today). Here are a few pictures of our evening.

Zack has always had a fetish with Great-Grandpa's cane ever since he was a baby. Here they are playing tug with it.

Everyone is helping Daddy open gifts.
Zack helped Great-Grandpa too.

Grandpa and Zack in their party hats.

Coko wanted to wish Grandpa a Happy Father's day too. :-)

Our little princess (the arrangement was what I wore for my first communion).

One of Kiley's faces I just love! She is one of the 2 best presents we have!

Can't Be MY Birthday

Not with a forecast temperature of 65 degrees. Nope must still be April 10th, not June 10th. Still must have a couple more months then before I'm 34. :-)

9 Months Old and So Many Changes

So many things have changed in a month with Kiley.
Besides being a master at stairs now she is able to pull herself up onto her feet.

She's also clapping. And always smiling. No doubt she is a happy baby.
Still not crawling on all 4's but her army crawl is fast and furious. She climbs over anyone and anything to get what she wants.

She's discovered how doors work and was quite fascinated by this for at least 15 to 20 minutes one night.

She is very determined and doesn't let anything discourage her. Not even a big brother who might try and stop her progress.

She still has just 2 teeth. The three of us are trying to teach her a little baby sign language, (yes, Zack too) which she understands the signs but is not quite using them yet. Zack actually never did pick up on using the signs... until now. :-) He just went directly to words. Which I think will happen with Kiley too. She's getting close to a few it seems. Like "Ba" she seems to say when she is holding a book. Could just be me though.
Either way our little girl is growing up fast and changing rapidly. She definitely will be walking by her first birthday, if not running! :-)

The Cooley Clan Just Keeps Growning!

We are going to be an Aunt and Uncle again!!! My sister Megan and husband Chris are expecting a new addition to their family! Meg is due January 1, 2010. Uncle D is hoping for a nephew born on his birthday, December 30th.
We'd be happy with a healthy baby girl too but Zack needs some boys to play with in this family! My cousin Dan has a soon to be 2 year old, Ryan, who will be moving soon from Chicago back to Minnesota but that is it on our side.
It's a good thing we've got our Godson Collin and have meet a few good boy friends in ECFE that he loves to play with.

Happy Anniversary Diane and Al!

38 years ago today my my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law were married! For the 12 years that I have known them they have been wonderful examples of how a successful marriage should work.
We hope you have a wonderful day today!
