Kiley's First Steps!!

It's happened! Kiley took her first steps today at Grandma Trish and Grandpa Tom's just before Mom and I left for golf! And of course I didn't have my camera there but she had to show off her skills for Daddy when he got home from work.

She started out with one or two steps at Grandma and Grandpa's and by tonight she was taking 3 or 4 steps before she fell. Such a big girl we have!

We knew it was bound to happen soon. She's been putting in a lot of practice with the chair and table. Bet you didn't think it would be used for that purpose Grandma D and Grandpa Al. :-)

She even attempted a turn at the mower too this week. :-)

11 Months and 4 days old!

How time flies. I think I've said that before.

Kiley has been quite the little mischief maker these days. She is finding everything and anything she is not supposed to have. Add to it the ability to climb things now...

...and "feed" herself, (the spoon shot was after Mommy left her unattended with a yogurt cup)

and her love of opening drawers and emptying them and my days have gotten quite busier!

She is beginning to speak a few more words now. Her favorite now is "Uh-oh" just before she's about to drop something or directly after.

Zack has noticed her changing too. He thought she was big enough to join him in the wagon on a recent walk.

And he's also trying to help her learn to walk.

She is getting very close, only using one hand for balance when walking along furniture and sometimes she is taking both hands off and standing on her own for a brief minute. She is one busy little girl.

Prayers for Great-Grandpa Again

Hi, hoping you can keep my Grandpa in your prayers again. On Wednesday of this week he fell and broke his hip. He had a pin put in and is now at the nursing home for physical thearapy. Please pray for a speedy recovery for him.
