Happy 8th Birthday Meghan!

Today is our beautiful niece Meghan's 8th birthday! I can't believe she's 8 already! She is such a wonderful and smart young lady!

Her cousins think the world of her, (as do her Aunt and Uncle!).

The Barry's were here in October for a family wedding (another blog I need to create soon) and Zack did his best to get Meg's attention. He even hopped on the couch one afternoon to join Meghan in some "reading" time.

And he is constantly asking me when he will be 7, (now it will be 8) like Meghan.

We love you very much sweetheart and can't wait to come and see you soon! Zack is very excited and told his preschool class all about his upcoming trip on Monday, (the theme was air transportation).

Hope you have a wonderful and fun birthday!

Hugs and Kisses from all of us!

Happy Birthday Uncle Chris!

Today is Uncle Chris' birthday! Thought it would be appropriate to share some pictures I never got on the blog back in October. Uncle Chris works for a road construction company and has wanted to get Zack out to a site for a long time. Well this summer and fall he had a site in Plymouth so he invited us out one slow Saturday. They got to go in the cab of a "digger" and watch Uncle Chris raise up the scoop.

He also got to check out how big a scoop really is, (no the kids were not in the scoop when Chris was working the machine. :-) ).
And he got to check out a few of the other machines, one of which was in use.
He was quite interested in the whole thing but it did get a little loud for him.
Thanks again Uncle Chris for a fun time!
We hope you have a fun birthday and find some time to relax a little too!

Zack and Mommy's Snowman

The last weekend of February Zack and I took advantage of a beautiful day and went outside to build one last snowman (at least we think it will be since all of our snow is pretty much gone now with all the rain we had last week! )

Zack started out with a snowball fight but then helped build...

It was soooo nice to be outside again. And we think our snowman turned out pretty good too. :-)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's day to all of you!

Our little Lad and Lass have been busy chasing leprechauns today. Those silly leprechauns took Mommy's bags of chocolate gold coins and hid them. But they did leave a fun book about leprechauns that we had found at the library. They thought we had to have the book. :-)

Of course one bag was "at the end of a rainbow"!

We also have been munching on Irish Soda bread that Zack and I made yesterday as well as green finger jello in the shape of shamrocks we also made yesterday. And those silly leprechauns died our milk GREEN! Go figure. :-)
We hope you have a fun day today and hope the luck of the Irish is with you today!

18 Months Old!

Ok, I've slacked a lot in my postings. Darn Olympics kept me glued to my TV and up late at night. Not to mention we've been a bit busy. So...here I go on some catch up...

Last week Kiley turned 1 1/2 years old! She is a very active little girl! Her teachers in ECFE always get a kick out of how busy she is in class. One of our nicknames for her lately has been "Little Mischief" because her "Peanut" nickname isn't fitting as well. She is 26 lbs. 6 oz. (75%) and 33 1/2" (90%) tall. Much higher percentages than her 15 month stats.
She loves playing with and "feeding" Coko.
She enjoys playing with her baby doll too, shooshing her and patting her on the back to "calm" her. She feels it's given her enough practice so she can help out with Brynn and Rowan. She's always trying to shove a paci in their mouths whether they want one or not. And a few times she's tried to pick them up. She never sits still long enough for us to take a picture when she's holding one of them though.
Auntie Mo and Auntie Meg have to check their carriers before they set their babies in just to make sure nothing is snapped or someone else is occupying it. :-)
She also really wants to be one of the big kids. Building blocks is a fun past time of hers to do with Zack and she's always trying to get into the fun with her cousins.

She LOVES dressing up too. Doesn't matter if it's her brother's stuff...

...or her own...or a combination...

...and if she finds shoes to accentuate the outfit, perfect!
Wonder where that comes from? Any suggestions Aune's?

She is definitely a happy kiddo. And even though she's keeping us on our toes with her climbing and finding everything she's not supposed to have, we love her to pieces! :-)

Happy Birthday Grandpa Tom!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Dad! I have always been my "Daddy's Girl". He has always been someone I've looked up to and wish I'd be like. That is the reason I followed in his footsteps going into the telecommunication world, donate blood on a regular basis, joined the Pumpkin Fest committee with him at church and love playing golf and softball, (It helps that I had a great coach in those sports too!). I think it's also why I tend to take more risks than my sisters. :-)
He's been such a wonderful role model as to what a great father, husband, son, and now grandfather should be and I'm so happy he's mine!

Happy birthday Dad! We love you!
