Zack's Kindergarten Class Singing

New Rooms

Because of Kiley's collarbone we decided we needed to get Kiley in a bigger bed.  One that she wouldn't fall out of!  Here are the new set ups for the kids' rooms.

Kiley's Newest "Picture"

Hopefully this will come across so you can see it.  Our poor little girl broke her left collarbone today!  She did it trying to jump over a toy and missed.  I think she was favoring her left shoulder from a sprain from her big brother falling on her a few weeks ago and by doing so didn't use both hands to brace her fall!  UGH!

Happy 5th Birthday Riley!

Happy Birthday to our wonderful niece Riley!  Today she is the same age as Zack!  Which is always a big deal!  :-)  We love you very much and can't wait to celebrate your five wonderful years tomorrow!

On another note for the Schuster's, I forgot to wish Molly and Josh a Happy Anniversary!  It was 11 years of bliss on October 7th!  And they still know how to have a good time!  :-)

Today is our beautiful niece Emily's 7th birthday!  She is such a wonderful little lady and we love her to pieces.  We wish we were in Oregon to celebrate with her!  Kiley especially wants to fly out there to celebrate!  :-)

Grandma Diane, Grandpa Al, Grandma Trish and Grandpa Tom joined Kiley and I at the bus stop to see our boy get off the bus. Grandma Trish brought a great treat! DQ ice cream cake for the occasion.  

  

Then it was baseball as usual for Zack. He couldn't get the bat out quick enough! :-)

Now, anyone have advice on how to get a lost jacket back from the bus? He forgot it on the bus coming home. Hope the bus driver found it and kept it for us tomorrow! Fingers crossed! :-)

First Day of Kindergarten!!!

Today is Zack's first day of kindergarten!!  (Not sure why this 1st picture is uploading this way.)  He was very excited and didn't shed one tear!  That was all left to me but I held it together until the bus took off.  :-)  
We had to wake him up ourselves because the noise of the radio alarm clock did not wake him up! He was snoring away with his head a foot away from the alarm.  ;-)  Can't blame him!  He has to catch the bus at 6:30 a.m.!  He's in all day kindergarten and will be home by 2:30!

(This one is loading funny too.)  He hopped right on the bus and was on his way!  I'll post a picture of him coming off the school bus later.  We can see how tired he looks then.  :-)

Happy Birthday Great- Grandma Cooley and Kiley!

It's been busy this summer!  Couldn't believe the last blog was from Father's Day!  Oops!  I'll try to fix that soon.

Yesterday we celebrated two very special ladies, (one lady and one little lady that is)!

Yesterday was my Grandma Cooley's 89th birthday and today is Kiley's 3rd birthday!!! 

We had a fun day of celebrating!

Happy Father's Day!

We would like to wish all of the Dad's out there a very happy Father's Day.  We'd also like to thank our Dads for all they have done for us and for our kids.  We truly appreciate them and have learned a lot from them and are still learning from them.

I'd also like to wish my wonderful husband a very happy Father's Day as well.  I don't know what I would do if he weren't by my side helping me in this parenting journey!  I love you and think you are an amazing dad!

Celebrating Grandpa Cooley

Today would have been Grandpa Cooley's 89th birthday and since he passed away last July I thought it would be fun to get my family together to golf at the course where he collected THOUSANDS (no joke) of golf balls for all of us who golfed in the family.  After some of us golfed (the Grandma's watched the kids. Thanks MOM!!  Mo doesn't golf and Bear was out of town.) we then came together at our place for a BBQ and LOTS of baseball!  Zack was in heaven!  He got to golf with us and play lots and lots of baseball!  It was a beautiful day and I know I had TONS of fun.  I think my cheeks are sore tonight from smiling so much!  Made cleaning most of the day yesterday (my birthday) well worth it!

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary Diane and Al!

Happy 40th Anniversary to Diane and Al who have been wonderful examples of love to Darin and I!  We love you very much!  (And I'm sorry I am posting this so late on you day!)

We had an incredible opportunity to celebrate with Diane and Al back in January when the 6 of us were all in Hawaii together!  Staci, Sean, Darin and I took them on a whale watching dinner cruise that was amazing!  (Highly recommend the Maui Princess)
