Christmas in July # 3 - Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent at my parents place. With four little ones around the best way to describe it was chaotic! We started with just my immediate family for gift openings.

Tradition is whomever finds the German pickle gets to start opening gifts first.

By far, Zack's favorite Christmas gift was his "Red Noise" aka a vacuum. He still helps us clean with it! A close second was his dust "puster". It was hard getting him back to open anything else once those were open.

Kiley enjoyed swinging.

Meg got her Lake Hubert shirt. We all have one now from our annual trip to Lake Hubert in Nisswa, MN. You'll hear more about this trip very soon. ;-)

She also had a very strange list this year, a Shark vac, Cuisinart, and a hedge trimmer. Zack didn't quite get Auntie Meg's gifts.

Uncle Chris got a fishing net.

We moved the party upstairs when my Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle and cousins arrived.
Aunti Mo was put to work by Zack.

Some things between sisters never change. She took my spot!

A very special gift of mine was one of these bowls. My grandparents used to live on a lake for 27 years with lots of trees on the property. Part of our fall projects out at the lake was cutting down trees and raking leaves. The new owners of their property makes bowls out of the trees. It was a very sentimental and wonderful gift to remember our childhood out there.

...and it got a little competitive on who got what.
