I've been meaning to put this on the blog for some time now but Zack hasn't been cooperating with naps this week...
We found out on Sunday that Darin's Great-Uncle, Gene Aune, is a hero in Fergus Falls. At age 81 he attempted to rescue a young girl in trouble. The story is in the Fergus Falls Journal. He went into cardiac arrest while attempting the rescue and is doing OK. He is currently in Fargo being observed and having some tests run due to the lack of oxygen he had for a few minutes. His vitals signs are good right now but he does get a little confused from time to time and is having some trouble getting enough oxygen in his system but other than that things seem to be improving. Please keep him in your prayers! He's truly an inspiring man putting his life in jeopardy to save someone else.
