A Family of Fisher People...

Zack became quite the fisherman this week. He was known to wake up in the morning or from his nap and ask right away, "Can we go fishing?". He liked reeling in his line, (and others as you can see from the pictures) and caught quite a few fish of his own doing that. No help from Mommy and Daddy. Dad was quite proud. By the end of the week he was also helping to push the minnow bucket in and throwing his smaller catches back into the water. He's quite the fisherman. Mo has a great video on her blog of him fishing.

Fishing with Daddy!

Some of Zack's fish! He out fished Daddy most days!

Zack, Me, Riley and Auntie Molly fishing.

Riley didn't get as into the fishing as Zack. Although she was pretty cute thinking that she either "Caught a Bobber!" or she "Caught a Little One"... her minnow we had stuck on her pole.

The adults didn't do too badly either.

First fish Josh caught up there not too far off of our dock. It was a nice size Northern.

Molly's bullhead that Dad had to take off. It's the only kind of fish Mo won't take off herself.

Dedicated fisher! Even with a headache Mo fished. :-) Bet you didn't know I took that picture.

The guys did something new this year. Rather than go golfing they went on 2 guided fishing trips. One was with the husband of one of Josh and Darin's co-workers at RBC. He was up in Nisswa for a Bass Tournament so he took them out Bass fishing one day.

The second they hired a guide to take them out Walleye fishing. The guide caught most of the Walleye but there were quite a few large catches on the trip.

The Men in the Kitchen, fixing the Walleye! It was very good!

Needless to say after both experiences, golf may be put on the back burner for a few years.

What a great fisherman Zack has become! John Barton would be proud.
