I'd like to wish a very happy birthday to my wonderful Mom. She is a wonderful inspiration to me in all of her roles in life, daughter, wife and especially as mom and grandmother. I don't know what I would do without all her help and support through out the years but especially these past 3 1/2 years.
Thank you Mom for all you do for our family and we hope you have a wonderful birthday and many, many more!
WE LOVE YOU!

Pictures of Our FIRST Nephew Rowan!
...probably our one and only nephew too. :-)

One Day Old!

Meg and I have been in charge of putting pictures of Rowan on Molly's blog for her. But here are a few more for you of our.
First day!
Darin and I actually took turns going up to the hospital on Friday because Zack has had a cold all week and I wanted to wait one more day before he went up to meet his cousin. So here is how I got to see Rowan...
...Uncle D got to see his EYES! This happened with our niece Brynn too.
One Day Old!
Auntie Katie and Uncle D with... Brynn? Rowan was getting a check up when we first arrived at the hospital so we took advantage and held our 6 week old niece instead. :-)
Happy Valentine's Day!
We'd like to wish you all a wonderful Valentine's Day.
Our evening is kind of an adventurous one. We are going to be having dinner at one of the park reserves and then snowshoeing on candle lit trails. Sounded kind of fun and different. Plus we can cozy up to a fire afterwards. :-)
We send our Love to all of you on this special day!

Rowan James Schuster is Here!
He must have sensed I was talking about him because shortly after my last post Rowan was born!
He was born at 10:09 AM and is:
Weight: 7 lbs. 9 oz.
Height: 21"

Lots of dark hair like the rest of his cousins did when they were born. :-)
Both Molly and Rowan are doing well. Just really, really tired!
I'll post pictures later tonight after I've gone up to visit. We are giving Molly and Josh some time to sleep since they have been up over 30 hours.
I'm sure they would love visitors later today. They are up at the new Maple Grove hospital.
Baby Schuster is on His Way!
Molly is currently in the hospital and has been there for a really LONG time! She apparently was not blessed with a quick delivery like Meg and I were with our second kid. :-( Mo's water broke last night at 9:00. They got to the hospital at 10:00 and there is still no baby! They gave her pitocin at 3:00 AM and she is currently dilated to 7 centimeters. But she at least is on an epidural. Needless to say they are all pretty tired up there. My Mom has been with them all night as well. Keep your eyes on Molly's blog. Meg and I will be posting pictures there later today!

p.s. Just so you know I removed the Nisswa blog for now. I'll post that again later along with the other pictures in a few more days. Baby S gets priority right now. :-)

2009 in Review - Summer
The Summer of 2009 really got away from me in terms of blogging. I was real good about it in July catching up on June:
Our trip to Rugby, ND for Brad and Maureen Fritels wedding and the Bartsch Reunion along with a short stop in Fergus to visit Great-Grandma. But I forgot to include pictures of Grandma D and Grandpa Al's visit with us while they were here for Zack's birthday.
And got really excited when they thought Kiley wanted to go home with them in their suitcase. :-)

On Zack's birthday Auntie Do came over to play with Zack's new t-ball set. And all of us had a lot of fun.

We always love Grandma and Grandpa's visits!

I also was able to blog about a few of our adventures of July in the month of July! Amazing. Our very cool experience at the MN Zoo, our 4th, and a visit from my Auntie Pat and Uncle Mike from Arizona along with a few other activities. But I missed out on showing you pictures of our trip to Nisswa, MN. I also posted nothing of what we did in August. So be patient with me, I'm going to be posting a lot.
